Which Metal?

Silver

Produced in sterling silver, all our silver jewellery is highly polished.

We are able to oxidize solid silver pieces on request to produce a charcoal-grey contrasting layer to the polished design, which highlights the pattern.

There is NO extra charge for this finish.

Gold

Gold has been used in jewellery for thousands of years, mainly because it is so attractive and wears very well.

The colour of gold depends upon the alloys mixed with it to increase hardness and change appearance.

9ct Gold: (37.5% pure gold) is available in three forms:
  • Yellow (pale yellow)
  • White (alloyed with silver/platinum and zinc)
  • Rose (alloyed with copper)

18ct Gold: (75% pure gold) is available in:
  • Yellow (deep golden colour)
  • White (steely grey colour, similar to platinum)

Platinum

Platinum is the rarest of the three metals and most valuable. It is a silvery-grey colour and has a metallic lustre.

It is a dense, heavy metal which is strong and hard-wearing.

Due to frequent price fluctuations, prices for platinum rings are available on application.
